My husband and I purchased this bed for our aging pup. Because it is made in the USA and we want to support American made products. The cover is very cheap looking microfiber fabric, there are nice looking high qualty microfiber fabrics but this is not one of them, we are keeping the bed but I am going to have another cover made, maybe one from cotton canvas. For this price I would have expected a more attractive cover. Also the interior waterproof liner does not have a zipper so you have to be careful as to not get the liner stuck in the cover zipper. Wish they would have put a zipper on the waterproof liner. Other than these comments the bed is fine..
We purchased this XXL bed for our fur baby who weighed 170 lbs. He had room to stretch out & laid on it a lot the last 2 years of his life. He was arthritic and the bed was perfect for him. Our current fur baby loves the bed and has LOTS of room (weighs 70 lbs). High quality and well worth the cost. Definitely recommend this bed. Your fur baby will thank you.
I bought this to put inside my dogs MidWest Homes for Pets XXL Giant Dog Crate. It fits perfectly inside.
It is a bit of a pain taking the cover off and putting it back on to wash it. However, it is nice and durable.
I almost want to get one for me to lay on in the living room.
I use this bed in a non traditional way. I wanted a memory foam mattress for when I go camping. Unfortunately, the tri-fold mattresses on amazon are too firm for me and I wake up stiff and sore. It may be because I’m only 100 pounds and I don’t sink in like heavier people. So I ordered X large in this one and oh my gosh it’s so comfortable! It’s too small for me length wise so I just put my memory foam topper on top and fold it up at the end. I’ve tried air mattresses too and this is the only one I sleep well on. My friends make fun of me for using a dog bed, but this is by far the most comfortable so I don’t care!
I bought one for my German Shepherd a year or so ago, she has leg problems and arthritis. I did not like the ones I had to choose from in the stores, for one thing they were not sturdy, they were not non toxic and they were made in China the majority if not all. My daughter and her two huskies go with us quite often on holidays and to the city shopping, We live in a rural area, only approximately 600. Seeing how my GS likes her bed, I bought a smaller version for my van so she would be comfortable while traveling., my daughter made a bed so it sits higher in the van. My GS ends up a lot on the back seat, as her husky takes over the bed so I am awaiting arrival of the 3rd bed for her van. My GS even likes eating on her bed, she lies on it looking at me waiting for her meals. I think she wishes she had a bell so so she could ring for faster service!
